Well… it did.

I taught it a few things—my key topics, my must-have sources, and some keywords to avoid. Within a week, it was surfacing articles I actually used. Stuff that was hyper-specific to my niche but also timely, trending, and had depth. I started getting emails from subscribers saying things like, “This article was exactly what I needed right now.”

That’s when I realized the power of AI isn’t just speed—it’s precision.


The Secret Sauce: NLP and Topic Clustering

Here’s what I learned: the AI isn’t just scanning headlines. It’s reading everything. Natural Language Processing (or NLP) helps it understand the context and sentiment behind content. That means it knows whether an article is optimistic, angry, in-depth, or just clickbait fluff.

Plus, tools like Frase and Scoop.it cluster topics together. So if I publish a blog post on AI writing tools, the system already knows to suggest related content about language models, SEO optimization, or even ethical AI. It’s not just recommending stuff in the same neighborhood—it’s digging down to the same street and house number.


You Still Gotta Add the Human Touch

Now, let me be clear: AI isn’t about automating your personality.

One big mistake I made early on? Letting the tools publish straight to my feed. Bad move. The content was solid, but it lacked voice. My audience noticed. Engagement dropped because the posts felt robotic—even though the info was helpful.

Now, I use AI to source and filter, but I add my own take—why I liked the article, what I disagreed with, or how it connects to something I’ve seen in the field. That little bit of commentary makes all the difference. It’s what turns curated content into my content.


When I Knew It Was Working

I remember one week in particular. I was slammed with client work, barely had time to breathe, but thanks to my curated content queue—powered by AI—I didn’t miss a beat on social or my newsletter. And the crazy part? That week had the highest engagement I’d seen in months.

A friend of mine in the same niche messaged me asking, “How are you finding all this stuff? I’m barely keeping up!” I just smiled and said, “AI, baby.”


Quick Tips If You’re Just Getting Started

  1. Start with one tool. Don’t overwhelm yourself. Feedly AI or BuzzSumo is a great place to begin.

  3. Set rules and filters. Include sources you trust. Block fluff sites or overused content.

  4. Don’t autopost—add value. Even one sentence of your own voice makes a huge difference.

  5. Review analytics. See what curated posts get the most love. Your audience will guide you if you pay attention.


I’m not saying AI replaced me. It just made me smarter, faster, and way more consistent. I still decide what’s worth sharing. But now I do it without tearing my hair out or spending half my life hunting for that one perfect blog post.

So if you’re trying to keep your content pipeline full, stay relevant in your niche, and not lose your mind in the process—trust me, let AI lend a hand. Just don’t forget to keep your voice in the mix. That’s what makes your curated content yours.
